Do not stop time...

Tic Tac Tic Tac says my grandfather clock
do not laugh I still have a clock that looks
older than I am...
Sitting in a corner counting the time
ticking away, never tiring or complaining.
From it's position he says hello and goodbyes
but most of the time no one pays attention.
I'm the only one who still look at it
believing that he realizes that if not for me
it would have been disposed off a long time ago.
It's his duty to keep me company when I'm
lonely and sad.  He's happy to see me happy
when I count the tic tacs in anxiety for
special events. He quiets down, feeling my
sorrow or my strange moods.
At times I let myself to sleep with it's
murmurs and wake up joyful enough to
blow the clock a great happy kiss.
That's what love of old object is all about,
since I am part of the older generation
who does not want time to stop....

Love

No paper needed
to write about love,
paper can be washed out.
Even love etched on stones
won't last, since stones
can be broken.
Do etch love in our hearts,
where no one can touch it or
erase it, it will remain forever
there to be part of us.

Go out & snap

I found this and it made me want to
go out and keep on snapping with my
camera.
Guess I will not use the flash otherwise
people will believe I'm nuts and a little
annoying.
But it's so much fun when you come
back behind the computer & look at
what you took, good or bad shots,
they are still YOUR pieces of art.

PS: this gif (is not mine).

Feelings.

"Let the sun slowly
warm my bed of ice,
wishing you all the
best while saying
your goodbyes for the night,
with a star or two for
friends, I will wait until
tomorrow and yell a
loud good morning
sunshine...".

At times it takes a look at a nature shot like this,
to wake up feelings hidden in our souls.

March craziness

Today first of march,
here is a saying from my nonna.

February is short and sour,
March is crazy...
one is fooled by the exit of
February mid weather leaving
like a sheep & to be replaced by
lion march.
But little do people know about
this MARCH,
it's craziness at it's highest point
when you expected least.
It will lash at your in a brutal way,
remembering the 4th of march 1971,
when it dumped 3 feet of snow in the
space of 18 hours. People had gone to
work and running shoes but never
made it back to their homes before the
next day in late afternoon, the city was
closed, only emergency vehicles where
allowed out at their risks and perils.
So what will this march bring us????
