One would hope for a bright future
not realizing that it's full of punches,
curves, joy and sorrows.
We in this country that I call mine
where my roots are not  part of this
earth, but that I love dearly for giving
me my hard earned bread and butter,
there's a nag that's been with me for
a very long time.  "Discrimination" 
for those who are not of the same color,
the same mother tongue or believes.

Little did I know that for me and my

descendants we will never be considered

natives.  But who are the natives of this

land?

The civilized world came and destroyed

a nation, it's people, it's culture.  The 

people of cloth were the most ..... of all

people.  Maybe not their fault since they

obeyed the laws in their luggage and 

believed they were the gods of this

new found land. 

Wars, massacres, disputes, genocides

occurred and still today in the 21st century

some close their eyes and ears: 

"It's not my problem... I live good, let

others fight it".  Have you stopped and

looked around....

Forward to today:

When I think about it,  I am not 

surprised to have heard about the 

215 innocent children found in mass

graves just because they were not my

color, spoke my tongue, believed in the

laws of the nature.  Were just treated

with disregard and buried without a trace

or dignity.

WE WERE THE GENERATIONS OF THE

JUST AND AS SUCH JUSTIFIED OUR

ATROCITIES towards ANGELS OF THE

NEW FOUND LAND.

Life is a bitch

My dear friends and occasional readers
you are wandering what's with my title
of this morning post.
Life is a real bitch, one is born with
all types of expectations may it be good
or bad and is out of our hands.  
The old tale, "Your life is written the
day you are conceived and marked by
the stars...".
Well excuse me if I do not agree with
this theory that I call all false and mis-leading.
People most 99.9% have lost all dignity 
and respect for life itself.  Just by what we
just went through, one would believe that
some reasons entered men's brain and heart.
But poor me in being so naive as to having
closed my eyes for such a long time.

Please come back again I will finish this

post with more diligence and fairness.

Today

Today, May 21st has been 
a  scorcer. 
So what better way than
walking through an outside
garden of last tulips. 

Memories

No need for memories
when love is  present.
There is a shining light 
holding our precious 
moments.  We made them
so we know them.  We

can get old or stay forever

young our heart knows the

tune of the dance that was

ours.

Holding hands was a  passion,

twinkling eyes was our

private messenger, our 

quick or slow step was 

in tune with our sweeping

love that never left us and

we passed it on to our

following generations.

We pray and we hope

that it will be recognized

and cherished as we did

with unconditional love

to what was our legacy 

from our ancestors.

PS:  Dear reader,

I have a corner of my

heart that belongs to this

man, from the first song

of the 1956 to his passing.

RIP and hope not to be

annoying when I put his

songs.   

 

Simplicity

Simplicity a word with a thousand meanings.

Simple is less rather than crowding.

Take a walk leaving your eyes roaming

the beauty of a spring day.  Nature is waking up

and blooming if we leave it alone.

The gentle rain or the wind with 

clean and straighten nature fruits just

beginning to grow.  

Simplicity will catch your wandering eye

to the smells or colors breaking the long

mono colors that was available for months end.

O lord let me be like that simple flower

and give you thanks for the good fortune to

be able to see it and enjoying it.

Miserable day

Today is a miserable day, 

it's raining,
it's humid,
and it's gray .... 

I'm enjoying this sound while I try to write some words,

while I recover from a fall of yesterday (nothing too 

serious, just bruised one side).

April's joke....

But instead we had a late april joke..

It's been a long time that we

had snow on an april 21st.

We beat the record ... 

Covid time....

no shade, no shine

NOW today we can had
no kisses, no hugs,
no sports,no travel,
no restaurants, no bars,
no family and no friends.

This is my part

to these lonely taughts,

were is my life gone

for these last 13 months,

or your lives for that matter.

It's astonishing that people

who like me are feed up,

and awaiting for scientist

to create a vaccine that

for some is worth it

for others not so well.

What do we tell our 

children about their

grandparents departing

from this life when not

even their children have

seen them leaving us in

an absolute silence.

What am I leaving these

children as a legacy,

death, suffering, bickering

or an astronomical amount

of debts...

The answer is only available

in your heart and mind. 

The wind

If you can hear the wind
then you have a better
hearing than me,
if seagulls could give me
their wings I would fly with them,
if the sky can marry with the pond
then I will not disturb the mirror 
so that I can dream.....

The garden

We looked around the garden

we found an empty space

looking down upon the earth

we saw your tired face.

We picked you up and brought

you to rest.

The garden is beautiful but 

faith took you away.

We cried and cried but to no

avail, our tears kept fertilizing

the garden but did not bring you

back to us. 

Our hearts followed you 

thinking of the journey ahead,

we found a door that closed just

as you stepped in, we knocked

but the door did not budge, so we

understood that it was not our time

to follow you.

Dear love, do not despair we shall

meet soon, I don't intend staying

here for much longer, we were 

meant to be together and so it shall

Meditation

 Darkness is one's enemy, or friend
when need be.  It brings relaxation,
peace, enjoying a fleeting moment
just as the sun waves you goodnight.
Silence  is everywhere, you heart 
is full of silent wishes and dreams,
invisible to the world or the naked eyes.
But your blood is boiling in your veins
and tells you, keep going on, life is like
a carousel, one moment it's darks but then
light appears to show you the way,
cold will leave your soul
and replace it with love.  Love of life
is precious and you are worth living it...

Let nature sing...

Reflections

Reflections - what a huge word to my ears.

It's become so heavy that my 

upper body is hunched down.

If the sun would reflect, 

he would believe of making great

events with the scope to help the    

ocean, instead he would end in a 

false philosophy as big as the wave.

Reflections brings me to say... 

I need you not only today, but

for the rest of my living time. 

International woman day March 8

What a title for such a long voyage

of woman around the world. We pride

ourselves for having broken barriers

starting with the right to vote,

our command and presence in boardrooms

or nations.  We still have a long way to go

for the children of future generations.

The colors for this international day are:

Purple: Dignity and justice

Green:  Hope

White:  Purity  (albeit a controversial concept)

but I would add RED

Red is to commemorate all WOMEN who have lost their

lives to the hands of their murderers. 

The bridge

 

There is a bridge that connects
two lands of our lives.
The land of the living is for 
a short time.  
The land of the dead for the eternal
survival. 
Love is the only precious gift that 
we all share on the bridge.  
Life is a joy for the leaving and it 
can be hell for those who do not 
believe in it. 

Spying on us...

Lady moon loves to play havoc
and keeps spying on us. Do not 
disappoint the lovers that pray on
to have their love back or last for
eternity, which we know that is not
possible, since you moon, keep coming
and going to spy on us....

Time goes by...

Faith is "wincing" these days,
not only for humans who are 
at their wits end for the loneliness,
the lack of hugging their loved ones
but fear is enveloping us all, not wanting
to shake it off.  We do not know the 
outcome of this plague but we don't 
want to help ourselves either.
Keep distance, wash hands and don't
mix in crowds.  I'm still willing to listen
but please make it fast, my brains is getting
tired and my feet are itching .... 

Peace

When the earth
in our bones return to the ground,
and the blood in our veins returns to the sea,
then you will know,
that this land does not belong to you,
but rather you belong to the earth.

Silent day

 

Can't go out,

so let's see if I can

listen to the silence

of nature or bolstering noise.                     

My sky in January

 

My sky is strange
An artist just doodled 
around the sky

forgetting to assemble

all the pieces of his 

sky puzzle, knowing full

well that humans would

either jump of joy or

complain about it.

Bundled in super warm

clothes, armed with 

dark sunglasses, my

camera bag on my shoulders

off I went in search of skies.

How do I survive this 

darn cold, the sun is 

blinding, my fingers

are stiff and my ears are

red turning white.

Do I keep looking for the

perfect sky shot or do I 

just turn around, go home

and cuddle in my old

rocking chair, with the 

kitten warm my toes 

and wanting to share my

warm milk, or do I keep

on searching for the

perfect sky....

Will see tomorrow when

mother nature will be more

cooperating but for the time

being I am glad to have taken

this shot to remind me that we

are still in the coldest month

of winter.....

 

Survivor

I'm a survivor
no one will conquer my spirit.
You may brake my body

Baby, it's winter

Finally winter came along 
with the new year.
Joy was evident on winter sports lovers,
and wanted to feel the cold nose,
the touching of the snow,
but at the end of the sliding of up and down
the little hill, all were happy to go home
and have a hot chocolat drink and dream
of the next snowfall that might be just around
the corner.  Vive l'hiver / happy winter days

Sundown walk

 

A breath of fresh air at the
river was much appreciated 
before we are locked in for 
another two weeds, it was cold
breeze but well worth it.
I needed some fresh air, I felt
like a caged bird...

Back at it...

We are back at square "0".
Lockdowns, some work others not,
we can have gatherings but only 
outside in public parks and still keep
a certain bubble of max 5 - 7 people
from the same family.  Guess when
police sees a group of people they will
ask for their address and names? 
No holidays this year but then I would
be a millionaire by betting on numbers
of people who will not adhere to this law.
As you can see there's a little dusting of 
now on the ground but even the temperature
doesn't know how to react so one day is
-20 degree C and two days later it goes up 
to +2, go figure, it's making people crazy
and poor pets also.

Foolish me

How to be young and foolish in our
modern world is very easily done.
I jump of joy when I should give an
helping hand. I trust those who are
not worthy of my confidence, but then
I am the sucker who believes in all
stupidities that suround me blindly. 
This period is an eye opener when
death comes to your door steps fogging
all judgement and reasoning.  If through
the majority of your life you never 
respected a loved one or a faraway member
of the family, never gave them a call, 
never bothered to see them when these
were afflicted by sickness, deaths or 
misfortunes, why do you scream blue
murder if they do not put you on the
list of visitation the day that they passaway.
Why add miseries on those who are 
executing the death person wishes?
you are a bloody selfish who consider
yourself a "Primadonna" or "A rightous
person & demand respect".  Oh how I wish
to have a magic wand and just cancel you
from my sight so that I can mourn the person
in peace and quiet.  
My heart is bleeding due to your vanity and those
of your children who have no respect and as such
do not deserve my respect.  So respect and you will
be respected in return.  Your money does not appeal
to me, it's only paper,  but respect is a great virtue
which no amount of money can buy...

Ne me nie pas ce plaisir de te
regarder dans ces reflets qui flottent
gentiment sur ce cour d'eau. Je me vois
comme au temps de nos amours, sans
prétentions, ni commentaires.  Tu me
laissais croire que j’étais l'amour de ta vie,
mais un beau jour tu est partis sans même
un regard, j’espère que tes yeux cacheraient
ta peine, mais moi je n'ai rien vu.  
L'eau qui moite ma bouche n'a aucun
goût quand tu m'embrassait éperdument,
tu me coupais le souffle comme un enfant
au sein de sa mère.
Je sais que j’étais vieux pour toi, mais têtu
tout les conseils pour sauve garder mon 
cœur je les aie bloquer et aujourd'hui 
je n'ai que moi même a me maudir...
Salut ma belle, au moins toi sois heureuse
dans les bras d'un autre, mais attention a 
les cornes qu'il peu te faire, car celles ci 
sont plus maudites que des baisers sans
valeur....

Emptiness

know the difference and the 

essence of life, but that the 

writer tries to convince you

that he is right and you the

2020 year to forget

 

    -       2020     - 

The year 2020 is a year that
history is made and will be 
remembered for countless generations
to come.
Is it our fault (humans) or nature
way to tell us to smarten up otherwise
it will be merciless compared to the
miseries and deaths ❤ 

we have endured these last months

with no ending in sight for quite a while.

Even so, there is still some who do not

believe and when they will it is too late.

Why should I pay for a few no brainer

around me, my city, my country, the hole

planet if you really think about.........  

Blue - Gold

If I was a bird young or old

male or female I would jump

of joy from one branch to another

now being able to see you running 

or hiding from me. 

We might not have the privacy of

the gone days, but at least now you

can admire my shinning plumage,

see my struggles with giving 

last instructions to our off spring

before leaving the nest.

O my chirpy friend just wait for me

so that together we can fly away

in this blue and golden sky to 

other skies just a beautiful and 

welcoming as this one..... 

 

The longest day

The longest day of the year is today .....
I prefer not saying which year it is
for my own benefit of not wanting
to remember.
Facing death on a dark street corner
marks everyone from first responders
to passersby.
No one should be allowed to take
matters in their own hands at the
detriments of the surrounding humans.
It's a shock seeing it in person and
can only sense the feelings of their
families or friends, strangers at
such a sight.
The person passing on has finished
their voyage on this planet leaving
behind devastation, abuse, disconsolate
humans not having taken time or
resources to make it easier for these
individuals take their last voyage,
but society is just leasing time here
on earth, so we can make this stay
a great one or a miserable one.
Great when you have health, a little
money does help also, but it can be
hell if failing health is your shadow
daily, born poor or from the wrong
side of life in general.
Some have it easy, others have to
struggle every single day not
escaping their destiny. 
We can't have a perfect life that's for
sure, but if we don't help ourselves
come out and live a clean,honest and
purposeful life then better not be
born at all. LIFE is as soon as we
are able to fend ourselves 

and what we make of it.
Drugs are NO ONE'S FRIEND,
unless you suffer physical pains
beyond your control, but those
who suffer because they wanted to
imitate or try it for fun, then sorry I
do not sympathize with you....
WE KNOW THE DANGERS OF
IT, SO STAY CLEAN IT'S MUCH
MORE BENEFICIAL TO YOURSELF
AND ANYONE ELSE AROUND
YOU, WHO LOVE YOU AND WILL
MISS YOU ON THE LONGEST DAY
OF THEIR LIFE, 

NOT YOURS YOU ARE ALREADY GONE.....

gentleman who had lost his other half just a few 
weeks before ...

The promise

We have shared our days from cradle
You did hold my hands countless times
but also you stole my heart for a long time.
You showered me with blessings after
drying a few tears over the years.
but now you just told me we need to
part, you flying with those gorgeous angels
leaving me behind to await when you 
will come for me on a white angel horse
just like we promised to one another 
in our separate cradles. 

Darkness

"The sky is ink dark,
with flashlights coming
and going, maybe with
luck a shooting star will
pass by you, the lone owl
singing it's nightly song
scarring little animals to hide
further in their hole,
a lost cricket shivering from
the cool night keeps on
singing without missing
a note, but inside the tiny
house there's a bright fire
to warm up the night air
and who knows who
will dream with a "clair de lune"
hearing just a few notes in their
hearts joining together and
dancing to the tune of love...."

What is more strange than seeing
