Whistles and shudders

The wind whistles and shudders
this fine old ghost town
somewhere up in the high
mountains of  Colorado.
If I listen, I swear I hear
the whispers of those who built
and lived here…
their hopes and dreams,
wonderful exciting stories.
Those were their days,
still remembered…
The time did not change
the snow covered peaks,
of the tiny yellow flower
gently swinging at the tune
of the gentle breeze.
The mountain goats are still
roaming around for fresh
food for their young ones,
they are happy of their solitary
lives up in the mountains
touching the clouds.
The ghost  town full of
leftover other times
won't let go of the spirits of
those mountaineers, they shed
their blood, sweat and tears
to make a life.  Never feared
hard work or mother nature wrath
but they feared their own kinds
greed or heartless mind, such
was the life in the high Colorado
mountains.

Reach me ....

"Please can I touch you...
I will stretch my arm &
caress you.
Why do you go higher up
is my hand not worthy to
touch you.
You come, tantalize me nightly,
I see you up in the sky
besides me on the sea,
my lips can kiss you besides me
but they can't kiss shadows of
your face my lady.
Have pity of this poor soul
and my trembling hand who's
hitching to get to you.
Your answer keep reasoning in my
heart ...
You can stretch your hand as much
as you wish but it will never reach me,
I am promised to time and eternity..."

Catch a falling star

Hi everyone, some time in the past
around 60 years or so ago, that generation
(mine also) we were singing most of the
sweet and at times very crooning songs,
but this one stayed with me for all this time
and playing around with a golden star,
water waves and music notes come up with
this combination.  Someone by pure chance
recognized the title of this very romantic song
"Catch a falling star"
here are the words and the singer Mr.Perry Como.

Catch a falling star and put it in your pocket Never let it fade away Catch a falling star and put it in your pocket Save it for a rainy day For love may come and tap you on the shoulder some starless night Just in case you feel you wanna hold her You'll have a pocketful of starlight Catch a falling star and put it in your pocket Never let it fade away Catch a falling star and put it in your pocket Save it for a rainy day For love may come and tap you on the shoulder some starless night Just in case you feel you wanna hold her You'll have a pocketful of starlight (Pocketful of starlight, hm, hm, hm, hm, hm, hm) Catch a falling star and put it in your pocket Never let it fade away Catch a falling star and put it in your pocket Save it for a rainy day (Save it for a rainy, save it for a rainy, rainy, rainy day) For when your troubles start multiplying and they just might It's easy to forget them without trying With just a pocketful of starlight Catch a falling star and put it in your pocket Never let it fade away Catch a falling star and put it in your pocket Save it for a rainy day (Save it for a rainy day)
